The Lima song 2019

Jugamos Todos is the song composed in lyrics and music and produced by PEDRO SUÁREZ-VÉRTIZ® that tells us about the passion of sport, the importance of being the home of this great world event and, above all, about the desire and the warrior spirit of the Peruvians. That PEDRO SUÁREZ-VÉRTIZ® composed the song for Lima 2019 is the best tribute that can be done to him for everything he has done for music in Peru. The song is interpreted by the vocalist of PEDRO SUÁREZ-VÉRTIZ® La Banda, Guillermo Bussinger, and Maria José Suárez-Vértiz, daughter of the national rocker.

We All Play Campaign

Lima 2019 had the historic opportunity to bring together all the cultures of America during the largest multi-sport party on the continent, which was held in our country. In order to publicize the importance of the celebration of the Pan American and Parapan American Games, we launched the campaign to encourage everyone to join the event that put Peru in the eyes of the world: «We all play.»

In Peru all the cultures of America played. The athletes and their participating countries played. The volunteers, who are the heart of Lima 2019, also played. The parents played by taking their children to see the competitions; the people played standing up, in the street, when they received with cordiality the 40 delegations that will arrive in Lima. Everyone played for Peru and got involved with the Games, from the place where they were, buying a ticket, helping visitors, respecting the rules and being great hosts: We played all Peruvians, played the entire continent. Our culture was also promoted through sports values, informing the general population about the legacy that the Games have left for the country.

Lima 2019 made this imaginary journey from the past to the present possible, bringing the concept of cultures united to the present. In this way, the generation of attitudes, feelings of identification and pride as the host country of the Games was motivated.
